I have experienced the empowerment of healing and connection in therapy as a client and know the strength it takes to be vulnerable. I also know how immensely important it is to provide a safe and welcoming space for this vulnerability, where every client feels supported and encouraged as they navigate their journey.

I believe that:

  • Genuine connection with a caring and non-judgmental human is one of the most important parts of the healing process. The therapeutic relationship is incredibly powerful— yet, I also honor the fact that we start off as strangers. I am deeply committed to showing up as someone in your life who is always in your corner.

  • You deserve more than comparison. Many individuals believe they won’t benefit from therapy because their problems are “less severe” than others. You are worth healing no matter what you’re facing. There is no hierarchy of suffering, and— whatever it is that you’re going through at this moment— it matters, and you are deserving of support.

  • One of the most difficult things to learn is self-acceptance and self-love. I know from my own journey how impossible this may feel at times. Although it may feel completely unreachable from where you’re at today, I’m here to hold the hope for you that it is possible, and I’ve learned some powerful skills and strategies that can help you cultivate more of it in a way that feels true and grounded.

My purpose at The Gaia Center is to provide an environment of safety, guidance, transparency, and acceptance without judgment. Through weaving together healing and skill-building, therapy can absolutely help you step more fully into a version of yourself that is peaceful, courageous, and free.

I am passionate about working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, trauma, addiction, and grief. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I also appreciate and value working with gender, sexuality, and identity.

Human First:

When I’m not working, I am listening to music, immersed in photography, or binging my favorite movies (500 Days of Summer & Silver Linings Playbook are the top two!). When I’m not with friends and family, I am surrounded by the love of my two cats Romeo and Lady Macbeth.
