I do this work because I want to create a space where you can show up as yourself. I am alongside you as you process through pain, joy, and healing.
I recognize that much of western mental health centers the experiences of the dominant culture. Some of these approaches and modalities might no reflect the lived experiences of those from marginalized communities. In our work together, I hope to honor and incorporate your own cultural context and history into this healing work.
Therapy has had a big impact on my own life. It has brought me such hope, community, peace, and joy I once thought weren’t possible for me. I care deeply about making that kind of transformation accessible and I hope to share it with you.
I also believe that…
Self-trust is key. You know you best! So many of us grow up learning to trust authority, religion, or social expectations over our own instinct or desire. This can cause a disconnect and erode our ability to trust our own inner knowing. We are taught to abandon ourselves and release autonomy to others. Trust that you will make the right decision, trust that you will survive failure, and trust that you will not abandon yourself can bring about healing in all areas of life. It also makes it where you can be brave and take risks because you can always return to your own inner voice and truth that we know ourselves best and are able to live in a way that aligns with who we truly are.
Healing happens with others. My hope is that the safety and connection you feel in our sessions can ripple into your relationships and community. You don’t need to isolate yourself until you’re “better.” You can show up exactly as you are. Healing doesn’t happen in a vacuum—it happens in safe, affirming relationships where all parts of you are welcome. I hope to provide that space for you.
Many challenges are systemic and a result of feeling unsafe in our society. The healing work we do is not just personal, it's political. We live in a society that prioritizes productivity and money over people, strips us of autonomy, access, and connection. Your experiences of oppression or exclusion are valid. Therapy doesn’t ignore those systems, but it holds space for the ways capitalism, racism, ableism, and other oppressions shape our lived experiences in both big and small ways.
Hope is everything. Holding on to hope is radical and essential to liberation and healing. Holding on to the belief that things can be different midst of pain is brave and invites us to imagine the possibilities for ourselves, the collective, and our relationships. Holding onto hope is a radical act, and one I hope we can incorporate in our work together.
My purpose at The Gaia Center is to create a safe space where you can show up as you are and learn to understand yourself.
I hope our work together can help you feel more at home within yourself and lead you towards healthier relationships.
I work with adults, and adolescents individually, as well as families.
I am passionate about working with individuals who are experiencing depression or anxiety and folks with any marginalized identities, going through life transitions, deconstructing from religion, and LGBTQ+. I am a transracial adoptee so I am passionate about working with adoptees.
Life transitions like starting college or a new job, entering a new relationship, moving, or watching your first child begin Kindergarten can stir up deep feelings and even reveal old wounds. These "in-between" moments can be uncomfortable. I want to walk with you through the discomfort.
I pull from modalities like IFS and narrative based therapy.

Human First…
When I’m not working, I am usually listening to a pop culture podcast while working on a sewing project (currently working on a quilt), watching Reality TV (I am a Survivor and Married at First Sight fan!), or chatting with friends over brunch or by the pool. I’m also a proud auntie to my human nieces and friends' dogs.
